I have replaced the garage door and door in my garage and beforehand removed the drywall on the inside to see how the wall was constructed.
There was no plastic between the drywall and the insulation, and now I'm wondering what I should do when I rebuild the wall.
I don't have any plastic at home and the area is not that large, so can I skip the plastic, use wind paper, or should I buy plastic?

Attaching a picture of how it looked before I replaced the door...

Old garage interior showing an uninsulated wall with exposed wood framing, a closed brown door, and a white garage door.

you don't need plastic there unless you don't have normal indoor temperature in there and this together with the fact that there are people in there all the time.
