I plan to install a sheet at the bottom of the garden house that goes about 30 cm up because otherwise, the facade comes too close to the ground (low cast slab). I've nailed raw pine boards so there's something to attach the sheet to. But it feels like I also need to staple some moisture barrier between the sheet and the raw pine boards (thinking about condensation forming behind the sheet)?

I thought of buying some cheap underlayment paper to put there. But the paper I looked at had a sanded surface. And I've heard that you shouldn't have that against metal sheets.

Perhaps I can use windproofing foil (which I have left over)? But can the foil withstand the sheet getting hot in the summer?

What material should I choose?

But if you read on http://www.teokonsult.se/plat/kondens-3.htm it seems that no condensation protection is needed behind the sheet. For my facade is ventilated (compared to a ventilated roof). So there shouldn't be such temperature differences that cause condensation. :-/
