Before you point it out... Yes, I have searched through the forum and found some tips. But...

Yes, the ceiling should indeed be lowered for downlights in the kitchen and hall. The kitchen is 2.20 x 4.50 meters. I initially thought of using metal studs around and cross studs cc60 (or maybe cc30 is preferable for 13mm wall gypsum?), but one of the walls is made of lightweight concrete/brick/plaster, and I'm wondering if it might be a bit weak to support a heavy ceiling?

Is it better to hang directly from the concrete ceiling instead? On the other hand, that means I need to drill and plug. How close together if so? Are there alternatives? Nail gun for example?

All tips are welcome.

how much were you thinking of lowering?
attaching something to the concrete ceiling is probably recommended if you only have brick walls
For the plaster, you need cc30 in the ceiling

Planning to lower the ceiling by 10-12cm. Only one wall is made of lightweight concrete. About 2.5m.
