Planning to furnish a loft with trusses at 1200 mm on center. The idea is to either

1. Lay a solid self-supporting wooden floor (30 mm)
or
2. Lay a 32 mm chipboard floor (2*16 glued together) and on top of that, lay some cheap laminate flooring

What do you suggest, for those who are knowledgeable in this?

If the construction, dimensions (cross-section), and span of the trusses are such that they support a loft (which is not a given), then option 1 applies, but increase to about 36 mm flooring material. Particle board (even laminated) has significantly poorer properties when it comes to bending stiffness.
