Hello.

I have been planning to tear down a wall and yesterday I started looking into it more, to the point that I exposed the "skeleton."

Can anyone see if this wall is load-bearing? I don't dare to tear down more because I'm unsure myself.

Note, on the drawing there is a bay window, but this does not exist in reality.

Grateful for help.

  • Floor plan of a house with a red arrow pointing to a wall between "Bibliotek" and "Matsal". Question about whether the wall is load-bearing.
  • Architectural floor plan of an upper floor showing rooms labeled SOVR.1, SOVR.2, SOVR.3, "ALLRUM," bathroom, and missing bay window.
  • Partially demolished wall revealing wooden studs, with a view into an adjacent room. The wall is being assessed for structural support.

As usual, the sectional drawings are needed to answer this question.

Looks very weak to be load-bearing so the answer is probably no. But if you have section drawings, it can be confirmed.

It definitely does not look like it's load-bearing.

Missed the sectional drawing, here it is.

Looks like the wrong part of the house.

Hmm, it's the only one I have. I'll check in the archive.
