We have a situation where we just sold our apartment.
The person who bought it asked before the purchase whether one of the walls was gypsum or load-bearing....
Being laymen, we answered that the wall is gypsum.
Now, when the buyer has been with us to take measurements, she has a construction guy with her who insists that the wall is load-bearing due to its thickness.... So a gypsum wall with a load-bearing element inside?!
No party in this can interpret the drawings we found, so the next step in the process seems to be finding a structural engineer or similar who can surely tell if the whole or parts of the wall are load-bearing.
How do you quickly as fuckin fan get hold of one in holiday times? In Malmö, I might add, if any engineer is reading this

I don't even understand why it would be your problem. It's up to the buyer to find a constructor, get approval from the board, etc.
That the buyer asks a strange question (the two things on either side of "or" are not opposites) is not your fault when you answer one of them, and both are true.

However, the buyer claims that she bought the apartment under the impression that it was just a plasterboard wall.
We are now advised by our real estate agent to try to make the buyer satisfied by assisting with the examination of the wall….
But naturally, one consults an expert from the start if one wants to change something so crucial in a home…..

It is a drywall if there are plasterboard panels in/on the wall. It has nothing to do with whether the wall is load-bearing or not.
Real estate agents do not want to end up in trouble between two parties and always try to get people to agree. You don't need to worry about that. There is a risk that your help now may be considered as an admission that you provided incorrect information, should there be a trial.
