Hello,

maybe the wrong forum section, but I'll try.

What can be said about the load-bearing capacity of the floor structure in a 1.5-story house?

Trusses at cc 120 and beams so a total of cc 60 (?).
The "bottom chord" of the truss measures ~225 mm and a partition wall in the middle that makes a span of 4.1 m.

How much can it support?

I'm asking because we use the unfinished upper floor as a cold storage, with a raised floor and chipboard flooring over the insulation.

Thanks in advance.

Check traguiden.se and you'll find tables you can look at for questions like that.

Spontaneously, you probably don't need to worry unless you're planning to have pianos and grand pianos in the attic :-)

If you distribute and spread the weight, you can load more in the attic than you might think. Avoid placing heavy items over the beams that do not have a supporting wall directly underneath them.
