Hello,

I have an old model window in a sloped ceiling that I need to protect from light during the night. I've scanned the market and none of the customized products for this purpose fit our window. Of course, you can special order (at a relatively high cost) but we're likely to remodel the room soon, so I don't want to spend too much on this.

I was thinking of a light panel that is held in place with magnets and can be easily removed during the day. What kind of panel material should I use? I would obviously like a light and thin material. I'm also open to other tips on solutions.

Thanks in advance!

A 4 mm board should suffice. If it needs to be 100% light-proof, you can glue on foam rubber that protrudes around the edge of the board and seals tightly against the window frame/reveal. Cover with fabric if it needs to look nice.
