Hello!

I'm about to extend the house with a basement and I'm considering using Legolit or isoblocks for the basement walls. Ideally, I'd like to use Legolit, but I can't find any information at all and no retailer is responding. Do these even exist anymore or can they still be obtained?

I've done many foundations but I don't have the energy for another one :)

Read a bit here about Legolit and the company

Nordic Therm AB is the one selling but don't know if it works today
Checked all companies doesn't look like anything 2017

Thank you!
We have that risk in mind when choosing the building system and fire protection.

Tried to get in touch with them but can't get through... The product might have been discontinued since the information has disappeared.

If the basement is below ground, I don't think you can use the isoblocks.

Can't it withstand ground pressure?
Can't find any info anywhere

Is there any product like Thermomur that doesn't require a 140mm concrete core?
The total cost becomes so expensive

There are 3 companies at the address that might be connected, but no phone numbers for any of them. It's possible to call others at the address and ask those who are there, you can find them here

Thank you!
Tried again and now at least their number from the website is busy.

Also found an installation guide which says that it works with counter-filling provided that reinforcement from the slab is released into the wall.

It is now futuristic houses that have legolit.
Nordic Therm is only working with solar panels.

Hi, how did it go with Legolit or Ekolit as it is called today? Have you received a quote or found another construction? I am considering building with Ekolit myself. So I'm interested in input from others with experience in the matter.

We used Sundolitt KUB when we extended. Ridiculously easy and convenient.

Yeah okay, I have seen them too, and it seems to be a convenient system. However, I've had a hard time finding a distributor in Stockholm who could provide a proper quote.

Where did you build and did the construction company purchase the materials? I'm planning to build (at least) the basement myself and am therefore looking for convenient ways to do it (as well as cost-effective).

We built entirely on our own, in Skåne, so I told my building supplier at the build store what I wanted and how much, and he provided a quote.
