I am having problems with water seeping in between the wall and the concrete slab during heavy driving rain. The wall is made of Ytong blocks that are plastered on both the inside and outside with classic thick plaster. The problem is that there is no drip edge. I understand that one should have been installed during the masonry work, but it wasn't.

My question is whether the collective expertise has any good tips on what can be done about this problem?

The images below show what it looks like where the water leaks in between the slab and the wall on both the inside and outside of the wall.

Close-up of water leakage area between plastered Ytong block wall and concrete slab, highlighting missing drip edge. Concrete floor with water stains and a plumbed wall. Blue door and cleaning tools visible. Water ingress issue between concrete slab and wall.

I think it looks like you could glue a sheet to the vertical plaster that prevents direct water ingress, i.e., on the underside.

Mm, have been thinking about that but was hoping there would be some standard fittings or "standard form" for fittings that one can ask the tinsmith to make that isn't too ugly?
