Laying new plastic in the house? Age-resistant plastic

Hello, I have a house from -78 that I am completely renovating and wanted to check with you if you have installed new plastic throughout the house? Today I have some type of plastic foil from the 70s that is absolutely not airtight.

The exterior wall looks like this:
Brick 210mm
Mineral wool 50mm
Asphalt board 12mm
Mineral wool 120mm
Plastic
Mineral wool 45mm
Gypsum board.

Of course, the plastic should be sealed/replaced.
