Large gaps between drywall boards!
Hi!
We are building walls with OSB boards and plasterboards on top. Now I'm going to fill the joints with paper tape. My question is - in some places there's quite a large gap between the plasterboards. Should I apply a larger amount of filler first and let it dry before applying another layer and then use paper tape? Or should I do it as usual, meaning apply the filler and then immediately use the paper tape?
This part of the wall will be a closet wall, so I'm not too concerned about the appearance.

Hello,
Depending a bit on how large the gaps are, I would probably "base" with gypsum plaster/filler. Then fill as usual
