Laminate flooring on wall

Hello
I'm considering installing laminate flooring on a wall currently covered with Wall Panels Regina from Moelven.

1. Can the laminate flooring simply be glued to the existing wall panels?
2. Do you need to leave an air gap against the adjacent walls and at the top?
3. Sometimes I wonder if the laminate boards might be a bit too glossy on the wall, does anyone have any opinions or experiences about that?
