Hello...has anyone been to Germany or Poland and seen what their prices are for soapstone stoves????
Which stores have stoves?
Links?

Hi there,
right now there's a promotion down here (Germany)
Soapstone stoves are available at:
Bauhaus
Obi
Praktiker
etc.
I have the Obi-Catalog at home and can scan
the pages tomorrow if you wish.
However, these are "regular" prices and not promotional
prices. Poland is likely even cheaper.

Hello and thank you for the reply,,,, does OBI in Poland have the same stoves as OBI Germany?
Are the stoves EU approved?
What is the price of those that are on promotion?

Thank you so much,,,,,truly appreciated!!!!!!!

Is it really enough today that they are EU approved?

I think it requires a bit more than that to install them in Sweden?

Cheers

Obi's offer:

I imported a wood stove from Germany myself
which was EU-approved (most of them probably are)
and the chimney sweep was happy.
However, you should check with your local chimney sweep about what he thinks
before you set off.
If there's anything you're wondering about or don't understand in the descriptions,
let me know and I'll interpret / translate it

Good luck

Hello...
we had the chimney sweep at home, and it was about it being EU approved, meaning there should be documentation showing that, he said...
did yours come with that?
translation... does it apply to German then?

We had all sorts of papers with us.
Among them a document showing that
the stove was EU-approved. Additionally, there is
a plate on the back of the stove where it
also says.

And sure:
I mean translation German->Swedish->German
Just ask.

Tell me what you want to know and I will answer you.

Regards
