Hello

I have seen on several occasions that if you let the seam between two plasterboards lie in the extension of the door frame (i.e., the studs to which the door frame is attached), the wallpaper tends to crack at that seam. Does anyone know if there is the same risk in a bathroom when you have tiles on the wall instead of wallpaper?

Best regards

Martin

There is a risk and you don't want the moisture barrier to crack.
If it moves, there is also a risk that the tiles will come loose.
I don't think it's a danger, but as I said, the risk is there.

Hi
