I'm new to the forum, have just moved into a house with my partner and have a question about how to determine if a wall is load-bearing?
It's a wall between a garage and a storage area.
The garage is attached to the house, and both were built in 1979.
There is also a door between the garage and the storage area.
It's the circled wall that I'm considering removing

My gut feeling is just to tear it down
Maybe someone can help me with this?

That wall is most likely not load-bearing, but only put up to separate the storage from the garage. Load-bearing walls normally go across the direction of the roof trusses and support the middle of the truss lower frames.
But is it really well-considered to tear down that wall?
Isn't it good to separate the storage part from the garage? If you tear it down, you'll lose a wall where you can place shelves for all the small and large items that need to be stored somewhere. A piece of advice: Don't make too many drastic changes before you've "settled in" for a while!
We are in a dilemma about what to do.
I am well aware that it can be nice to keep the wall, I mainly wanted to find out if it's possible to remove the wall before planning too much!!

I have a similar arrangement myself, but what you call a storage room on your plan, I call a workshop.
There I will devote myself to my hobby, building ship in a bottle. Cheers
My garage + workshop is 9 x 4.5 meters, by the way.
