Is this a good design for a new house?
We are currently looking into buying a newly built house and have our eyes on one that we find nice. However, at present, we know little about construction technical details and wonder if someone knowledgeable here can comment on the following construction:
Foundation: 300 mm of cellular plastic, 100 mm reinforced
concrete with embedded underfloor heating coils in the living areas.
Exterior walls viewed from outside: Light gray colored wood panel
22 mm horizontal single-phase, air gap about 25 mm, wind barrier,
195 mm frame, vapor barrier, 45x45 mm horizontal stud,
45 mm insulation, 12 mm OSB board, 13 mm gypsum board.
Roof viewed from above: Concrete tiles, battens and purlins,
roofing underlay, tongue-and-groove panels, trusses, loose fill insulation about 500
mm, vapor barrier, lath 28x70 mm, 13 mm gypsum board.
