Hi,
I'm planning to install a window in the kitchen and can't figure out whether the exterior wall is load-bearing or not. The window is 18x6.
I don't need a building permit for the window but must submit a building notice if the wall is load-bearing.
It would be great if someone could determine the situation so I know whether I can start building or need to file a building notice.

Drawing of a house facade with marked window placement on the southwest wall, showing roof, chimney, and stairs on the side. Building section diagram showing two floors with dimensions; upper floor at 2.50m and lower floor at 2.17m. Roof trusses are visible. Construction plan details for joists, insulation, and beams, relevant to assessing the load-bearing status of a wall for window installation. Attic with wooden beams and insulation, showing a section of the roof structure. Attic space with wooden beams, insulation, and sloped roof, possibly part of external wall in question for window installation in kitchen project. Small attic window in a wooden wall with insulation material on the floor; circular vent above the window. Old construction document showing wall information, including materials and dimensions, related to a home renovation project for a kitchen window installation.

That wall is not load-bearing

Thanks! Exactly the answer I want to have!

What determines that it is not load-bearing?
The truss in the gable visible in the pictures looks different compared to the others visible on the drawing. Is it still free-standing and resting only on the long sides? Does it look different because it bears a smaller part of the roof and because the facade should be attached to it?

It's probably just because the window is there. In the middle, it looks like there's a pole. Leave it as it is, but it's not where you've drawn in the window.
