Planning to remove a door frame in a house from 1920. Is it safe to remove the frame or could it be load-bearing? See image below?

Floor plan from a 1920s house with a red arrow pointing at a door frame between two rooms, questioning if it's load-bearing.

The door frame itself is most likely not load-bearing.

If it is supposed to be load-bearing, you probably have bigger problems then...
A simple way to test if it is load-bearing is to simply start sawing it off (which you probably need to do to remove it anyway).
If the saw gets stuck really tightly when you're almost through, something is pressing on it, and then it is load-bearing for something at least...

Saw off the door frame; if it collapses, then it was load-bearing, hahaha

No, it is not load-bearing.

Exactly, it's not load-bearing, but there might still be a little pressure, so saw at a slight angle upwards or downwards so it doesn't pinch when you pry with the crowbar.
