I am going to build a house.
I have the choice between fiberglass insulation or rigid PUR foam boards.

PUR is said to insulate better. Fiberglass is sensitive if water gets into it.

Which one should I choose?

Hard drives are more difficult to make completely sealed.

By fiberglass do you mean glass wool? Definitely the wool.

What is the reason?
I mean fiberglass insulation, like Gullfiber.

The main reason is probably the price. If price is not an issue, I would still recommend a combination of PUR and fiberglass.

PUR is nice if you can apply a complete layer of it, i.e., not when it has to go between studs in a stud frame. Applying a complete layer of PUR is an option for breaking thermal bridges and achieving really good insulation value without building walls that are too thick. But in new construction, I don't really see the reason, actually.

It ended up being PUR insulates better. The house is almost finished now
