Insulated and paneled over the Pax fan
I don't really know where this fits, but I have craftsmen here who, among other things, have added insulation and installed new paneling.
Now I noticed today that they haven't extended the duct for the extractor fan all the way out, but instead sealed it with insulation and then put paneling on top. So all the moist air from the bathroom has been pushed directly into the new insulation and paneling.
The old insulation remains on the wall, and on it, an air gap has been built, followed by insulation, and then the paneling.
It has been like this for about 4 months.
What should one do? Do you need to open the wall and check, or will it dry out?

but what kind of bunglers...
First of all, you have to make a hole for the outlet if you want to continue using the fan.
Then I absolutely think you need to open up and dry it out. If moist air has been blowing straight into the insulation, quite a lot of it is likely still there, unfortunately.
But I think you should take this up with the craftsman — if nothing else, to demand compensation.

Yes, it was pure luck that I discovered it. Now that it has gotten cold, you could clearly see from outside that there was something strange.
They are supposed to come this morning and take a look. They will probably cut out for the outlet then.
The feeling I have is that we'll need to get Ocab or Oktopal here to assess the moisture in the wall and the necessary measures. Hopefully, it can be dried without opening everything, that would be devastating.
Luckily, the contract work isn't finished yet, so I have a bit of leverage.

Sounds good to bring in an external evaluator — absolutely right!
