In the middle of a complete renovation of the living room. I had planned to remove the floor to replace the existing wood shavings insulation with new flooring. But found very nice parquet under the existing Ikea click floor (or equivalent). My question is if there's any possibility to insulate the areas where the wood shavings have settled, without tearing up the floor. Planning to install new walls inside the existing ones (to straighten them), so there will be 5 cm that can be concealed and where modifications can be made.
