Creating a new thread as it became a bit confusing without a picture.

- The garage is 39 sqm but only two of the walls need to be insulated
- The interior walls have exterior paneling (same as on the outside)
- The walls have wind protection
- The windows are triple-glazed
- Heating will be drawn from the adjoining room through ventilation and a small HRV unit
- The purpose of the garage is to park a car and provide space for a gym
- It doesn't need to be warmer than about 16 degrees

How can the two walls be insulated in a simple and cheap way?

I don't need the best insulating wall, but as mentioned, it needs to be inexpensive, easy to execute, and durable.

Diagram showing a 39 sqm garage layout with instructions for insulating two walls. Includes garage door, concrete floor, and adjacent fully insulated room.

Take down the interior siding, determine if the stud thickness is enough for the insulation. If not, add battens, e.g., a 45mm perpendicular to the studs.
Put the siding back on.

What kind of insulation should I buy? Can I do it myself? Estimated price?

The garage is 39 sqm but as I said, only two walls need to be insulated.

Insulating is very simple. The tricky part is taking down the panel without it breaking, but it usually goes well if you use a crowbar carefully.
If you search for insulating a garage, you'll find guides from several manufacturers on insulation, such as this one from isover: https://www.isover.se/supporten-tipsar/isolera-garaget-det-ger-fler-mojligheter#1

Looks easy. How much insulation do you think is needed?

At least 95, but if you have deeper studs, e.g., 120 or 145mm, fully insulate the entire space.

And can't you just remove the top panel and fill it with loose fill?

That could be an option, if you don't have any cross beams in the construction.

and it can lie directly against the panel?
