Hello
I am going to insulate the basement internally.
*I have Isodrän and proper drainage outside.
*50 cm of the basement is above ground and there is a sloping side.
*The basement is heated with radiators but cold.
*I think the slab is uninsulated.
Now to the question, I have had a long discussion with ChatGPT. It recommends that I should place EPS boards (styrofoam) tightly against the concrete. Absolutely no air in between, tight against the walls and floor (for the floor, GPT suggests that I should lay a regular EPS board and then EPS grooved panels for waterborne floor heating).
Is AI right or wrong?
