Insulate a masonry wall on the inside?

You can use polyurethane boards if you have limited space but want maximum insulation capability. They used to be called SPU but are now called Kingspan Therma. There is a version with a gypsum board already mounted on these boards. They don't need any studs or anything, you just glue them up with polyurethane foam directly onto the concrete wall.

The brand of the foam doesn't matter, it's the same content in the bottles. Available at all hardware stores. For example, this one http://www.biltema.se/sv/Bygg/Kemikalier/Lim/Stenlim-2000029972/

There are two types of bottles, one with its own nozzle and one that requires a special foam gun. In your case, I would also buy the gun as it will provide much better precision and results. It doesn't cost many kronor.

Now I just need to find a foam gun with a two-meter pipe so I can spray the foam directly in without breaking open the wall!
