Yesterday, Monday morning, the company leveled the floor in my living room and kitchen. The contractor handling the entire job, including waterborne floor heating, informed me that I can start laying the floor as early as Wednesday. I could even begin the day after if I wanted to.

I was in the house today, and the whole area is clearly damp, with moisture on the windows, etc.

I will be laying Tuplex foam with an integrated moisture barrier and then laminate flooring on top of that.

I don't know what type of leveling compound was used.

But what does the panel say? Can I start laying the floor tomorrow, or should I wait until the weekend?

Smooth, gray self-leveling compound recently applied on the floor of a living room and kitchen under renovation, with bare walls and some moisture visible.

My leveling compound in the basement (Bostik coarse) took several weeks to completely dry out, but in some places it was also around 5cm thick. You could clearly see when it dried and changed color.

If using ROT-spackel, you can lay the vinyl flooring after 24 hours, so laminate also works well.........IF rotspackel has been used.
