Installing glulam near chimney, regulations?

Hello,

Trying once again, what are the rules regarding wood near the chimney?

Do they mean from the actual chimney part?

Can I notch here and insert a glulam beam here at the yellow marking?
 
  • Room under renovation with wood panel walls, exposed beams, construction materials, a red heater on wheels, and tools scattered on the floor.
  • Building interior under renovation with exposed wooden beams and fireplace; tools and debris scattered around.
  • A partially demolished interior wall with exposed wooden beams and bricks near a chimney area, construction materials leaning against the wall.
  • Room under renovation with exposed wooden beams and a chimney section marked with yellow tape; construction materials and cables visible.
  • A partially demolished wall with debris and exposed wooden structure; construction materials are visible on a nearby shelf.
