Installing drywall as a ceiling, measurements for sparse ?
We will be installing standard gypsum boards 13X1200X2500 as the ceiling, lowering the ceiling by 28 to accommodate electrical conduits, etc. My question now is if it's sufficient to set the furring at 60cc?
Consider using 900 mm panels... much easier to handle when you are installing plasterboard on the ceiling (especially if you are doing it alone).
CC300 is highly recommended, I installed it in the garage.
But I think cc400 works pretty well too. Whatever you do, don't install it more sparsely than cc400 (cc450 with 90's panels). However, choose cc300 if you are meticulous and want a perfect result.
A drywall lift is recommended, costs less than a hundred to rent for a day.

There are instructions on the manufacturers' websites. I recall when I looked that if you choose cc400, you also need to set sparse along the walls on the short side of the boards, but if you choose cc300, that is not necessary.
One advantage of the wide boards is that there are fewer joints to be plastered.
And as mentioned, a board lift that you can rent for a small fee simplifies the job by a factor of 100.

If you check with Norgips, it says cc 300, Gyproc cc 400...............so a little different depending on the manufacturer. A little different also depending on whether you set the gypsum board across or along the studs. As usual, you could say: follow the manufacturers' recommendations!
.........Then I've always gone with cc 300 out of old ingrained habit, at least it's not too sparse....

another thing to consider - when you want to attach things to the ceiling (which I'm currently doing with the slanted ceiling) you're happy the closer the battens are so that you have something to screw into
my downstairs has a tongue-and-groove ceiling and then plasterboard - wonderful if you want to attach something.
