Have a floor with a slope towards the middle, the skirting board leaves gaps and instead of cutting something out of wood or cutting the skirting board into smaller pieces, I was thinking of placing a row of tiles under the skirting board. So that the tile goes up a bit on the wall.
However, it would be directly against beadboard though with a batten right behind it.
Would it be possible to glue with PL600 instead of adhesive? I don't trust adhesive to stick to wood.

Sure, it works, however, the jointing should be done with a soft joint like silicone.....if you do need to joint
