Hello,

I have bought a new house where a mailbox is missing and I purchased a black metal model at Bauhaus with, as usual, 2 holes on the back.

Now to my silly question, it is to be mounted on a shared fence with some other boxes on it, but how do I mount it?

Drill through the fence and secure with nuts from inside the box or screw directly into the fence from inside the box with a flexible bit holder?

Or is there any other smarter way to do it?

Best answer

2 short stainless screws and a stubby Phillips screwdriver, and 5 minutes of work.
Phillips screwdriver with a short, blue handle designed for easy gripping, suitable for quick tasks like securing screws.

You can put a bits in a fixed key, lednyckel. ratchet with socket or wrench if you don't have a sufficiently short screwdriver. Or you switch to fransk skruv.
