Hello!

Renovating a guest toilet that lacks a window. To let in some daylight, I was thinking of installing a row of glass blocks (about 7-8) high up on one wall (about 1900 mm). The wall is timber-framed and covered with gypsum.

Is there anyone who can suggest the smartest way to do this? I would prefer not to have to strip the entire wall of gypsum. Has anyone done something similar?

All tips are gratefully received!

Best regards,
Fredrik

What is the thickness of the wall? Is it an exterior or interior wall?

Assume it's an interior wall.
Use a stud finder or you'll simply have to remove the gypsum locally where you plan to put the blocks to see what's behind.
How did you plan to attach the blocks? Are you going to build a frame first?
Isn't there room for a smaller standard window
