Hello,

I'm considering the easiest way to identify colors according to the NCS system as it should be indicated in a building permit document.

It's an older house, so the colors have changed over time.

How would you do it?

It just so happens that I have an NCS color chart, so I probably would have used that, but since these are quite expensive, if I didn't have one, I would have guessed with something.

Swing by a paint shop maybe?

Are you choosing a new color for the house or specifying an existing one?

Existing and new.
The new is black roofing felt and black wood details. Went with S8000-N as a guess for the black.

It's the new one that's most important when it comes to building permits. S9000-N is the "blackest" color.

Thank you very much, compare between S8000-N and S9000-N before I write it down.
