Tile adhesive/grout in a house from before the ban is not unexpected, yet it is not to say that it is always present since, as I understand, it was added manually during installation. There are good ways to renovate such a bathroom (especially if there is a window). The craftsmen are otherwise those who get most exposed. However, there is probably a lot of cheating with this.
