I have about 20 sheets of the fantompanna (approximately 220*116cm) that were left over and still on the pallet they came on, the question is how do I best store them?
I am planning to build lumber storage similar to this https://www.maskinisten.net/viewtopic.php?p=2109331#p2109331 and I can place the pallet under the first shelf level or lean them against one of the long sides if I'm going to have them there (right now I'm not sure where else to put them). Standing on the side, it's easy to take just a few sheets, but do they risk getting unnecessarily damaged when standing like that? Lying underneath, they definitely stay well-protected, but it becomes more cumbersome to take out just a few.

Do you have any suitable attic space where you can store them? I've noticed that leftover roofing sheets are usually found there. And that's probably pretty smart because they lie undisturbed there, aren't in the way, and honestly, you probably won't need to access them very often.

Space in garage/storage or maybe in the crawl space/pier foundation/basement?

Unfortunately not. The only thing available is a minimal attic hatch and spray-insulated to the point that there's hardly any room to crawl if one could crawl on top of the insulation.

No such thing. The few storage spaces available are so crammed that we've had to set up some storage tents to make room, and the pier foundation is full of other building materials. The only gravel area we currently have where they can be is where we need to build lumber storage, so a combined storage is my current thought, but I can't decide on what the best solution will be there.

Tear off some sheets and place them as sloping roofs over some pallets to protect against weather and wind.
Place the sheets on the pallets.
It doesn't have to be more complicated than that.

It also doesn't cost many kronor.

They have been lying directly on their pallet for almost 10 years (they decrease in number as each year passes) in the middle of the lawn, but now that part of the garden has finally been fixed, so they can't stay there anymore. So my problem is not how to protect them against the weather and wind, but how to find a place for them where they are out of the way without getting damaged (meaning in their form like bumpy edges, not how they look visually) but still be able to take out a single sheet now and then. The only place I can currently think of is the area where we need to build timber storage, and the most practical thing would be to have them standing, but I don't know how great the risk is that they might get damaged from it.
