I have a bit of a dilemma about how to handle my foundation; it's a log frame resting on stones where a slab has been cast, then a raised floor inside. I've torn out the floor and am going to install a nivell floor. My question is what to do at the sill, the entire sill is exposed now, and after that, the wall is plastered with something, then they've put up some kind of board. The nivell floor will go over it, but should you frame it up and put a wind brace down there, or how should one do it? There are also some gaps between the stones in certain places; what should be pressed down there? Before, there were a lot of fabric pieces stuffed down, and that's probably not good considering they were damp. I hope someone understands what I mean
