How to remove this concrete pillar?
Driving is the only option. But I think the pole is in good condition and is a bit bold. Personally, I would have kept it and tried to do something with it. Climbing plant, lighting, or something similar.
Retain!!
It has been under a "veranda," which was an extension of the house. The veranda was demolished and the house was restored, but the concrete pillar remained.
Now I am possibly thinking of extending the deck a bit and then the pillar gets in the way of where I wanted to extend.

"Use Explosives"
I had tried to call Roar; he surely could have helped to effectively remove this pillar 😀😃😄😁😆😅😂
He fixes everything, in this video clip he helps move a piano, so your little pillar he easily fixes with a hefty charge! 😁😁😁

1. I would have kept it!
2. I would have gone to town with the big angle grinder with a diamond blade and made a few cuts. Then given it a good whack with a hefty sledgehammer. Then it should be in pieces of a reasonable size to take to the dump.
