Borrow one maybe? Otherwise, ladders are available for rent as well.
If a ladder costs too much, how can you even afford to own a vacation home? 😉
Jokes aside, a suitable ladder costs 1000 at Jula, so it's not a lot of money when you compare it to the total renovation and ownership costs you're obliged to face. Plus, you need a ladder to get on the roof or do other work on the house.
However, you should consider the risk of falling so you don’t get hurt and perhaps invest in a work platform so you don’t risk falling and hurting yourself. They cost a bit more, so they do hit the budget harder, but you'll benefit from it when painting the facade or doing other work for the rest of your life. Plus, you'll save a lot of money by not having to take 5 weeks off work for complicated fractures, so in a way, it's free...

Joking aside, a suitable ladder costs 1000 at Jula, so it's not a lot of money when you relate it to the total renovation and ownership costs that you are forced to. Moreover, you must have a ladder to get up on the roof or do other work on the house.
However, I think you should consider the risk of falling so you don't hurt yourselves and perhaps invest in a work platform so you don't risk falling and injuring yourselves. They cost a bit more, so they do sting more in the budget, but you will benefit from it when you paint the facade or do other work for the rest of your life. Moreover, you save lots of money when you don't have to be on sick leave for 5 weeks for complicated leg fractures, so it's really free...
We will continue the search as so far we haven't found a ladder of the right height or a suitable work platform. But a work platform would definitely be preferable. Do you have any tips on where to find one?
They are available at many places that sell platforms, but Jula (which I linked to) is really affordable, so start by checking there.K KAMT said:
