Hello
Sometimes things are done backwards...
I have nice floors and bad ceilings. When replacing the ceilings, I thought I'd take the opportunity to install underfloor heating, from underneath.
I expect the underfloor heating plates to move a bit as the temperature changes.

Do you think it's enough to staple the underfloor heating plates from underneath with a staple gun, or should I be more ambitious and screw a board on each side of the plate to hold it up?
Best regards,
Karl

Performed this work with great effort and assistance from my wife, turned out well, not sure if the stapling will hold, I have short screws (buttons) that are at a reasonable distance.

It probably won't go well to lay the boards, the floor is too thin, I'll take a picture of how I've done it, but it won't be up on the forum until Thursday evening.

Have taken some photos, you can see for yourself and come up with questions.

  • Pipes and plumbing in a wooden wall structure, including copper and PVC pipes, some with markings.
  • Image showing installed plumbing manifold with multiple valves and pipes against a wooden board, part of a building renovation project.
  • Building project: Insulated wall section with metal sheet and wooden framework, showing pipes and screws, inviting questions.
SSSS
And I who thought it was cumbersome to place the hose in the sheets in the usual way...
Without knowing, I would probably choose a thinner hose for this because Ø20mm is not very easy to bend as you want.

The diameters are Ø20mm
It is correct SSSS, a bit stiff and resistant. but I flushed VV into them, with a wooden plug at each end, they were very gentle, what didn't go well was trying to twist them around their own axis, instead, they have to fall into the twist by themselves.
