Hello

I want to know how to attach the small trusses that are marked in the picture?
It's the small trusses between the large roof and the small one at an angle

not the scissor trusses

  • House with light gray roof, a marked section showing small roof trusses between the main roof and smaller angled roof, near a pool area.
Screw or nail!

Is it a stick-built construction or are there plans for the roof/trusses?

Hello

the trusses will be prefab but have not been ordered yet. I am interested in how to attach them.
Do you place them on a truss or

Well, it depends a bit, but it is customary to step them up against the råspont.

Oh, so you put up råspont and then build something so they become completely level where they are attached or?

You can do that, it's possible to set them against the rafters as well, but it might get a bit tricky with the råspont then.

But is that the standard practice?
Then I'm thinking it's best to order a rule that's chaos at 45 degrees and attach it to the rafters through the raw boards and then rafters on those?

hope you understand what I mean

If the two attics do not have any internal connection with each other, attach studs along the intersection against the main building's roof panel. Otherwise, the rafters must be offset with diagonal braces.

You usually lay the råspont first, then you pull a string from the "real" roof trusses to ensure that the small ones are at the correct height and measurements....
Then they are screwed down into the råspont and hopefully into an underlying truss!
After that, a rule type 45x95 is placed along the entire lower arm to prevent the truss from sliding.....like that

If the trusses on the large roof lose contact with the hammer beam because another roof is being built at a 90-degree angle, what should support what? The trusses of the large roof must be bridged with a beam + trusses that support this must be reinforced (doubled). The attachment for the trusses of the small roof must have wooden beams at the height of the valleys.
