Yes, it is screwed as it should be, what I've noticed with it is that it is really designed for distributed loads. But not for any significant point loads, because then it starts to buckle in the middle.

I wouldn't dare get involved with that company. Generally speaking, most things in concrete can be solved through welded inserts that have the functions needed for surrounding interfaces.

Also, I'd like to mention that one should not (or must not) weld rebar - they risk having altered fracture characteristics, which can be dangerous - you want ductile failures in concrete!
