How to attach a chin-up bar to a concrete wall?
Hello everyone! I've bought a pull-up bar so I can do pull-ups in the home gym, the thing is, how do you best attach it to a concrete wall? So I won't fall when I'm using it, I want it to be secure and well-attached.

I have heard that a brown plug can handle 80kg and a blue one should handle 100kg in tension, so I also think plastic plugs are sufficient, but expansion bolts never hurt when you want something to be firmly in place, although it's not as convenient when you don't want it there anymore.
Thanks for the reply Rickard, what does an expansion bolt for concrete look like??Rickard. said:
Keep track of how thick the wall is so that the clip that takes all the load doesn't get too close to the back.
I would have gone with fischer duopower 8x40. It can handle 110kg and has a safety factor of 7, so if you do it right, it can handle 770kg.
