Planning to install a Purus floor drain on a Purus board 2014 in a wooden joist structure, and I am thinking of using particle board, self-leveling compound with reinforcement, and tiles. I plan to lay electric floor heating Kelvin VK500 (see manual below), which I will attach with cable ties to the reinforcement before leveling. The included raising ring for the Purus board is 12 mm. Is that sufficient, or is an additional raising ring of 13 mm required? According to the manual for Kelvin underfloor heating, the self-leveling layer can be as low as 8 mm, but is that including reinforcement and heating cable or above the heating cable?
