I am going to convert an old potato storage into a workshop.
I talked to the insurance company and they say a layer of gypsum and sheet metal on the ceiling is enough to get it approved for welding, etc.
The premises are about 15*7m.
Today, the ceiling consists of rough boards and sprayed foam insulation (polyurethane foam).

How should I create a framework under the foam to hang the new ceiling?
My idea is to screw angle iron into the rafters that go down through the ceiling and hang the battens from the irons.
How closely should I space the battens? cc60?
What dimension for the battens?
How far can you place between the angle irons? The rafters are at 120mm, should I place in every rafter or is every other enough?
