In my recreation room, I will cover the inside of the exterior walls with platon sheeting about 6 mm thick. On these, I will mount 45x45 battens. On the battens, I will then screw 600x2400 pre-painted Huntonit panel boards.
The walls consist of concrete hollow blocks with about 10 mm plaster on the outside.
How should I attach the battens in the simplest and best way?
80 mm long nail plugs would be too short as they need to go through 51 mm of material?
Edit: I see that ESSVE has 100 mm and 140 mm nail plugs...
Could it be possible to just nail everything with some stainless coarse nails?
