How long staples are needed to fasten windbreak foil?

Depends on the size of the foil...

Just to make sure it stays up, make sure to nail up the spikreglarna the same day you install the windyn, they are the ones that will hold it in place.

Yes, wind barrier and wind protection fabric like T-vind, windy etc. only need to be stretched in waiting to be fixed with the nail battens.

So staples that are about 4 or 6mm long are sufficient.

Then it doesn't matter if the staples are stainless or not?

But the staple is equally exposed to moisture, right?
I think it's good to have stainless staples where they are exposed to moisture.

However, if you mean that the staple doesn't matter after the studs are nailed and thereby hold the wind barrier, there might be something to what you're saying.

Though, if one means that the staple doesn't matter once the studs are nailed in place and thus hold the wind barrier, then there might be some truth to what you are saying.
We use 8-10 mm even though we use a hammer tacker..
Stainless isn't necessary..
4mm is very short; if it's windy the day you install, it'll likely come loose for you…
