Hello,

Chipped away irregularities and built up with some mortar in a vent so that a proper inner part with a filter could be inserted. Had to build it in 2 stages (2 days) since it needed to set a bit before applying the top layer. Have watered around 2-3 times over 2 days now. How much longer should I water before I can attach the inner part and wait a few weeks to paint?

Vent opening with irregularities filled with mortar, showing inner frame and partially visible filter. Vent installation showing a concrete-reinforced vent opening with partial inner frame, awaiting inner part and filter installation before painting. A close-up view of a partially repaired wall vent with visible plaster and a mesh screen, in the process of renovation. Vent installed on a wall with wet cement surrounding it, showing patchwork and water stains, against a brick exterior.

Is it cement mortar A?
If you watered today, that's enough.
You just need to press the inner part in place and paint in 4-7 days.

It is Finja Puts- & murbruk C 25kg. Yes, I have watered it a couple of times every day. The first part was done on Tuesday, and the last addition to fill the entire hole was done on Wednesday. It feels very stable at this point and I can't see any cracks.

So then I'll press on the inner part tonight and let it go for a week before I paint it.

Sounds good, you can usually paint after about a week.
