How do I cast a larger slab next to an existing slab?
I'm considering making my friggebod larger. It has a concrete slab on the ground as the floor.
How do I extend the slab next to the existing one?
I need to anchor it to the existing slab.
And how much should be excavated?
Maybe there's a guide for this?

the simplest would be to excavate the area you want including the depth that all the rules of art require, build a form and drill into the existing slab and anchor a reinforcing mesh at the right level with 2-part adhesive. Then it's just a matter of mixing concrete for the slab, filling, and leveling off..
How large is the new slab and is the ground prone to settling? It can be a bit tricky when anchoring and attaching to an existing structure with a small part of the slab. There's a risk that the slab could shift and start to tilt. Maybe it's a bit overkill to keep this in mind when it comes to a "friggebod"

Lift off the friggebod, remove the old slab and cast a new one.
