Gap between floor and wall with pipes running, showing potential area for sealing with foam or silicone, as discussed for repair in forum post.
Floor/wall angle
What can I seal this with most appropriately?
Foam sealant?
Or silicone?
Foam sealant feels spontaneously effective since the gaps against the wall are a few cm in some places.
An insurance case that the carpentry firm has left like this.

Place a piece of flooring that you fold up against the wall. Foam sealant does not seal against water.

Gonna check what I find in the store....otherwise a lot of våtrumssilikon!:)

Floor mat that Matti_75 mentioned is probably the only right thing here or maybe even a law??? If there is a leak it should flow out onto the floor or down into a floor drain.

It is only for new construction that there is a requirement for plastic flooring now. This has been addressed by the insurance company anyway. But I have sealed it with silicone now. Also solved the issue of it leaking onto the floor in front of the bench in case of leakage.
