Hello,

I had electricians here today who were supposed to connect my heat pump. To get the electricity outside, they drilled a hole in the wall going outside. Now in the evening, it started to rain a little and my question is:

Should I ask the electrician to wait with sealing the hole from the inside, only sealing the outside (with silicone), until it has dried out (if some moisture came in tonight)?

Best regards

What kind of wall do you have?
If it's a wooden facade, there is usually an air gap behind the panel, and then the small amount of moisture will probably dry out anyway.
