I have torn down some form of wall and ceiling panels and uncovered the old beautiful walls, but it turned out there is a hole from an old window. I need tips on what I can do with the hole to make it good, preferably some fun ideas.

Trying to add a picture but can't manage to do it.

Insert a used period window into the hole. :)

Build in a shelf!

We have such a hole in one of the rooms in the house. Added casing and lining. And in the hole sits a chalkboard, so the kids can stand and draw.

But a window in period style with some decorative lights behind it can be very charming.

Built-in aquarium?

I was thinking more of a different liquid!
A custom-built liquor cabinet!:o

Is it an outer wall? Then you should probably insulate the hole. Or is there a lot of insulation outside the hole?

If it is an interior wall, it would be fun to have a whiskey cabinet hidden behind two oil paintings with hinges.
